Building A Dominating Online Presence Part 1

The Importance of an Online Presence:
What if you could double your business in the next 90 days? What if you could have a good month in a week's time? I know, I know it seems a bit far fetched but the truth is that this is happening all the time for local businesses just like yours.

Here's what could be a reality for your business:

* People in your community that are already searching for products and services that you have to offer will begin to find you!
* Your website will become more and more popular leading to more traffic and more customers!
* Your current customers will become more and more loyal to the point where they are telling all of their friends about you!
* There's no such thing as a "slow day" anymore!
* You could literally double your business over the next few months to a year!

The internet truly is that powerful, but there is even better news! The last statistics I heard said that out of approximately 4.5 million small businesses in the US, nearly 50% still don't even have a website! What that means is that if you act soon, you might be able to get a serious edge on your competitors. Even if your competitors have websites, they probably haven't done much in the way of marketing those websites. But the internet age is here to say, and if your competition isn't online, they probably won't be a competitor at all in the near future. Here are some simple steps to getting the edge on your competition.

So the first step is obvious: Get a website. But don't just get any website. Get a website that is optimized for the search engines - this will give you a much greater chance of people actually finding your website when searching for your products and/or services. Be sure to ask whomever is designing your website if they are doing the proper research (something we'll talk about soon!) and then applying that research to your website. This is critical! Getting a website without search engine optimization is like putting your storefront in the middle of the desert. You might get a visitor or two but it's just not smart. As we continue, we'll explore more tips and techniques for creating a dominating online presence so stay tuned!
